Looking for all the US National Park units? Here’s a handy guide if you want to see them all.

We already have an ambitious goal of going to all 63 National Parks in the next few years, but we are also considering living on the road after we leave San Diego. That means we may have to do all 423 National Park Units (that’s how many there are as of 2022)! (Click links to see full posts + map at bottom)

Complete List of National Parks in the US

Pro Tip: We highly recommend the America is Beautiful pass that gets you into all the National Park units, USDA Forest Service, BLM lands, and more. We’ve gotten one every year for the past 5 years. If you don’t have one, you can also visit on free entrance days in 2022.

Also, these parks now require reservations to get in.

  • January 16, 2023 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 16, 2023 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
  • August 4, 2023 – Anniversary of Great American Outdoors Act
  • September 24, 2023 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11, 2023 – Veterans Day

If you are visiting any other dates, the entrance fees still go towards supporting the parks.
